“Between the trails” isn't a place — it's a way of living.

For me, Between the Trails has never simply been about walking, hiking or reaching a destination.
It's about the moments in between.
The pause before the next thing. The time to breathe. The time we make for ourselves to notice what is around us.
It might happen on a woodland path or a mountain trail. But it can happen just the same in your garden, on a familiar local walk, or sitting quietly with a cup of tea.
We can get so focused on where we're going that we forget to notice where we are.
And maybe we don't always need to go further.
Maybe sometimes we just need to pause where we are.
🌿 A little invitation
Next time you're outside, stop for a minute or two.
Don't worry about how far you've walked or where you're going next.
Just look around and ask yourself:
What do I notice when I stop trying to get somewhere?
